AFTER 25 YEARS STORMBIRD IS FOR SALE
The boatbuilding yard was established by Danish boatbuilder Peter Kristian Gotfred Jorgensen (Pop) in the early 1960’s first in Picton, South Island, New Zealand and then in nearby Waikawa Bay. His boats are renowned for their strength and style. The history of the yard, the people and the boats is worthy of preservation as part of New Zealand’s history.
